Finding usable and legal music can be quite challenging and time consuming when trying to create a soundtrack for a video.  I often hate this part the most because I never know where to began.  It would often times be easier if I could use music I was familiar with or an artist I knew but most of the time doing so would involve many rounds of paperwork in attempts to get the sync license and other licenses needed to use the music legally.  Currently in our creative department we have a subscription to Cuegle which allows us to download and use music royalty free. Cuegle is great for finding soundtracks without vocals, however if creating a highlight video or a documentary that needs a “Christian” song this has been difficult to do at least legally for a long time.  Recently I stumbled upon CCS Videoready license.  Now, while I have yet to use this site, I am very excited about the potential to be able to use popular music legally without having to go through the same procedures that lawyers have to deal with.
