Trash That PowerPC Mac

When the new version of the Adobe Creative Suite software releases, it can only be used on Intel based Macs. Check out all the details at the Adobe FAQ page for CS4.

Since Mac announced that the coming Snow Leopard OS will no longer support the PowerPC platform, Adobe has stepped in line and dumped support for the aging hardware, saying that “the majority of PowerPC users have transitioned to newer configurations.”

For most avid CS users, this probably shouldn’t affect too much, but if you’re church is still fighting your upgrade request from that old G4, maybe now’s your chance!
