Let’s face it. We’ve all seen hilarious errors in copy written by ministry departments. Simple words placed in inappropriate places which change the meaning of the promotion into something silly, indecipherable, or just plain naughty.
Sometimes proofing copy can be the best part of my week. Some of the copy I’ve encountered in my ministry will be forever ingrained in my memory:
- Help us fill our food panty
- Join us for barbecue dressed in western wear
- Enjoy our adult library
